I dreamed about my first love, 14 years later, rekindling romance

i was dating my ex boyfriend, and my first experience being in love, although I actually have not thought about him at all for a very long time. we were being very romantic together, and our families knew each other. it was as if we had never broken up at all, which was 14 years ago. my dream ended when i was about to become romantic with him again, but in the dream I was looking forward to it as if I had never fallen out of love. what is that suppose to mean?
