I dreamed my fake brother abandoned me in the dark, facing torture and a long crawl

I dreamt I was standing with my brother, waiting for him to give me a ride. He left me and got into a car with some young men, but he wasn't really my brother. In the dream, I kept calling him "brother," but he wasn't. Anyway, I gathered him up and walked alone. The road was long and dark. As I walked alone, I heard someone, as if they were being tortured, in an abandoned building near the house. I thought about helping them, but I was afraid it might be an ambush. The rest of the way, I crawled through mud, covered with a blanket, not knowing which way to go. I could hear dogs barking beside me, but the blanket kept me covered until I reached the crossroads that would lead to our old house. When I pulled back the blanket, I saw many dogs and lots of cute chickens, all looking at me. Older women were crawling with me the whole way, watching over me, but I wasn't aware of it. When I pulled back the blanket, I told them I was coming from my grandmother's house, that my family was traveling, and that I had an exam the next day, so I had to go at night.
